Orthodontics

Orthodontics is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of anomalies in the shape, position, relationship, and function of dentomaxillofacial structures. This is because poorly positioned teeth and a physiologically incorrect bite are often difficult to clean and can lead to early tooth loss due to decay and periodontal disease. Orthodontic treatments provide the opportunity for a healthy mouth, a pleasant-looking smile, and teeth more likely to last a lifetime, while preventing headaches and jaw joint problems.

Currently, there are various techniques available, including fixed appliances, functional appliances or removable plates, conventional metal brackets, aesthetic brackets, self-ligating brackets, and invisible aligners.
